We start our days with some morning fitness. This gets our bodies moving and prepares us for the day ahead.

"The Volcano Experiment"

Today we did a science experiment. First we put down newspaper so the pretend lava didn't stain the blue table. Then we put vinegar in the top and added a teaspoon of baking soda. The ingredients reacted making a gas called carbon dioxide. It reacted. The top of the volcano oozed and oozed down the side of the volcano. It was messy, very messy.

Buzz Groups

Every Monday and Friday we have Buzz Groups. This is where Room 11 students have the opportunity to share something exciting they have done or something they are looking forward to.

Children also love to bring things in to share and show the class. This is great for oral language, listening skills, building confidence and speaking in front of others.
